I wanna improve my rangers look
I wanna improve the look of my ranger and do it under $500 anyone have any suggestions? I'm thinking I'll start with a body lift then window tinting then finder flairs.
Here's my truck -gt;
BL, clear heads/corners paint your valance and ditch the front plate holder
Newer year front bumper, powerdome, clear corners, 01-05 style flares, tint, wheels and tires(or maybe just tires if you like your wheels), shackles and a t-bar crank. That would make it look great. For some more money you could do the bodylift then 33's and some new wheels and it would be even nicer looking.
BL. Paint wheels black. New headlights. 06+ emblems. paint valence black. night shade tails. tint. vent shades.
All can be done for way cheap. except the lift.
Why fender flares? There is already a set on there....

Tint...tint...tint.., remove bug shield, body lift, new wheels and 33's, better bumper either same chrome or newer style, newer style flares, atleast 4x4 style grill not 2wd sport grill..
I'll trade you my chrome front bumper, chrome rear bumper, and chrome grille for your black bumpers and grille.

The rear bumper isn't perfect. The middle of the bumper looks like it's twisted upwards just a tad. I'd probably throw in some cash or get one off a truck in the JY. I only bought the truck because of the 4.0. I don't like chrome at all. The offer stands! My chrome for your black.
i like the non painted fender flairs and tom you got pics of your bumpers?
500 bucks will get you a body lift. but not bigger tires unless you find a good deal on some used tires.
^^Exactly! Why are people throwing out there tires?? Sure, in that budget you can get a BL and tint and maybe some bumper components, but certainly not also tire unless you get one hello of a score on tires...not to mention he'll need wheels for those probably 12.50 tires....
Here's what I suggest.... TINT(150 or so), paint the valence($5 can of color match paint + some sand paper + some build up primer @ $5 + clear @ $5), eBay for some good looking crystal clear corners and crystal clear headlamps($100), ditch the buggaurd($free!), paint your antenna($free!), then some 265/75R16's off craigslist to put on your existing wheels.
a porter cable 7424, claybar kit, intermediate and fine scratch remover, glaze, wax, and a good lsp. remove the bugsheild and license bracket and crank the tbars to level it
Body lift that sucka and get some tires off of craigslist. I never got the obsession with tint. All the hot chicks wont be to see whose driving that awesome truck.
get some new fog lights !
