just signed up here
some background:
im 15 and me and my dad own an off road fabrication shop. our current project, and hopefully my high school car, is a 1995 black 2wd 2.3L regular cab ranger. our plans are to create a triangular 3 link in the rear with a trussed ford 9quot; and independent suspension up front. looking for ~18quot; of travel in front and 20quot; in the rear. our goal is an extremely light weight short course ranger. we will turbo the lil 4 banger. we have already mounted front and rear fender flares and began trussing the 9quot;. bed cage is started.
some unique aspects:
we chopped the top about 1.5~2quot; and used the step side bedsides that came with the truck and mounted them 6quot; wider for free flared bedsides

a little more info:
located in indio, CA. me and my family go to glamis alot. we own an 06 yfz450 with white bros. racing exhaust and custom intake system along with a built raptor 660 which has lots of torque. we also have our long travel buggy that we finished with 24quot; + all around with a turbocharged 2.5L subaru engine. we also have an on road car which is a 1995 mitsubishi 3000gt vr4 that we converted to single turbo and is making ~450hp to all four wheels. i also have a traxxas e-revo brushless remote control car
